I just finished watch the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance. I never got into this before, but a few friends from Miami have been crazy for this show and have known people on the show. So it created a buzz - and then I saw a recital that was so powerful. I have seen another video tonight.
The first dance is a contemporary routine inspired by breast cancer. A moving and powerful piece.
The second piece is a portrait of addiction. The male dancer's father and sister both had meth addictions. I don't think I have ever seen anything as powerful as this dance.
